The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bautista bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bautista does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bautista fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Oh Godwin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Godwin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bautista was well out of range. Poor timing from Godwin.
Godwin seems to have got his legs back now.

Godwin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bautista circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Godwin to the canvas! Godwin doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Bautista keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

In his post fight interview, Drax Bautista started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
