Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nando Vasquez (ranked 2016 p4p, 2994 weight class) and Chu Ho Soon (ranked 220 p4p, 300 weight class). Ho Soon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Carl Orff - O Fortuna kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nando Vasquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chu Ho Soon!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Topper Green and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho Soon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vasquez.
Ho Soon throws out a counter right but Vasquez avoids it with no problem.
Vasquez dodges the punch combination from Ho Soon.
Vasquez fires out a quick counter leg kick but Ho Soon just manages to avoid it.
A thudding body kick lands there by Vasquez!
Ho Soon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vasquez was well out of range. Poor timing from Ho Soon.
Vasquez is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ho Soon.
Ho Soon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ho Soon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ho Soon lands a jab to Vasquez's midsection.
Ho Soon misses with a few strikes there.
Vasquez misses with a body shot.
Vasquez throws a right and a left that Ho Soon avoids nicely.
Ho Soon throws a jab but it's blocked by Vasquez.
Vasquez is looking to slow Ho Soon down with leg kicks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A punch lands to the side of Vasquez 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vasquez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ho Soon misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ho Soon looks to land a combination but Vasquez avoids it well.
Ho Soon just misses with a punch to the body.
Ho Soon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ho Soon with a hook.
Vasquez misses with a leg kick.
Ho Soon throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ho Soon pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Vasquez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ho Soon.
Vasquez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ho Soon cracks Vasquez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Vasquez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ho Soon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vasquez throws a low kick but Ho Soon moves out of range easily.
Vasquez misses with a body kick.
Ho Soon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Ho Soon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ho Soon lands with a nice combination. Vasquez backs away looking to recover.
Vasquez is rocked!
Ho Soon drops Vasquez with a big left hand! Vasquez is injured, injured bad! Ho Soon jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chu Ho Soon!
After winning the bout, Chu Ho Soon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
