The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

cat moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
cat closes the distance and clinches.
cat has hold of one of Jitsu's legs. Jitsu is fighting the takedown attempt but cat gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Jitsu looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jitsu is on top in guard.

Jitsu goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, cat has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jitsu but great work by cat.

cat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jitsu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
