Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Luciano (ranked 711 p4p, 1435 weight class) and Hemmo Partanen (ranked 111 p4p, 213 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Antonio Luciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hemmo Partanen!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partanen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Luciano misses with an uppercut.
Partanen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Partanen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Luciano.
Luciano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Partanen throws out the jab.
Partanen throws a looping overhand right but Luciano ducks down to avoid it.
Luciano definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Partanen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Luciano.
Luciano connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Partanen's hands.
Partanen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Luciano throws a right hand that misses
and Partanen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Partanen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Luciano was well out of range. Poor timing from Partanen.
As Partanen looks to move away, Luciano throws a big counter combo but Partanen just gets out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luciano cracks Partanen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Luciano has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Partanen to stand back up!
Partanen is rocked!
It looks like Hemmo Partanen has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Partanen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Luciano sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Partanen is still on wobbly legs! Can Luciano finish him?
Luciano bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Luciano on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Partanen seems to have recovered his senses.
Partanen stuns Luciano with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Luciano throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Partanen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Partanen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Luciano moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Partanen throws a sloppy body shot
and Luciano counters with a big left hand that crumples Partanen! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Antonio Luciano!
