Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Franco Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Decker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jake Decker enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franco Marques!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Decker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marques fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Decker, pushing him back against the cage.
Decker looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Marques misses with an elbow over the top.

Decker wants to break free but Marques has control.

Decker is fighting off a takedown attempt but Marques is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Decker to the mat. Decker regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

and Decker counters by clinching up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Marques has Decker pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Marques pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Decker tumbling to the mat - Marques dives into Decker's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Marques works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Marques stays in close to Decker's body and controls the position.
Decker is looking to stand up but Marques isn't so interested in that idea.

Marques slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Marques's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Decker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Marques is controlling him.
Jake Decker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Decker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marques controls the pace.
Marques knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Decker on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight!
Franco Marques showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Marques, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
