The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meuneix gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cane to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cane prevents Meuneix from getting back to his feet.
Cane passes into half guard.
Cane is pressing down on Meuneix's thigh, looking to free his foot. Meuneix is holding on for now.
Cane prevents Meuneix from standing back up.
Cane passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Meuneix!
Cane seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Meuneix is holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cane is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Meuneix to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Meuneix shrugs it off.
Meuneix on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Meuneix tries to get out of the position.
Cane is looking to work his way around to Meuneix's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Meuneix knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cane on the ground.

Meuneix definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
