Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Hanen (ranked 1009 p4p, 1406 weight class) and Ani Kwata (ranked 139 p4p, 188 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Hanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ani Kwata!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwata closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hanen's guard.
Kwata postures up in Hanen's guard and throws a big left but Hanen blocks it.
Kwata lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Kwata is taking a breather. Hanen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Hanen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kwata moves away.
Hanen slaps away a takedown attempt from Kwata, before circling back to the center of the mat.

David Hanen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kwata tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hanen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kwata somewhat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
