Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zambosurian Inday (ranked 6390 p4p, 24263 weight class) and Mmm Mmm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mmm Mmm has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mmm with a lazy takedown attempt and Inday counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Nice sprawl there from Mmm as Inday shoots in. Mmm steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Mmm dives in and grabs Inday's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inday pushes down on Mmm's head and hops out. Inday fires out a quick counter leg kick but Mmm just manages to avoid it. A momentary lapse in concentration from Mmm enables Inday to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mmm manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mmm wants to stand but Inday is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inday throwing strikes but missing. Inday controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Inday seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mmm for as long as he can get away with. Mmm is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Inday stays in close to Mmm's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Inday gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mmm pushes Inday away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Inday gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Inday stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Mmm as Inday shoots in. Mmm counters with a body kick. Inday drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mmm wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Inday in side control, just content to control the action for now. An elbow from Inday crashes against the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mmm struggling a bit here. Mmm defending against the ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mmm wants to get back to his feet but Inday drags him back down.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Zambosurian Inday dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Inday's corner is telling him to maintain position. Inday stops Mmm from standing up. Mmm wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Inday manages to pass to side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inday sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Inday shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mmm defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mmm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Inday's waist but Inday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mmm off to one side. Inday fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Inday shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mmm sprawls well. Mmm wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Inday gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zambosurian Inday. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inday looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mmm is fending him off so far but Inday persists. Nope, Mmm circles away and we're back to standing. Mmm shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Inday pinned against the cage. Inday gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Inday thinks about countering with a body kick. Mmm throws the kick towards the body but Inday avoids it. Inday jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Inday fails with the takedown. Mmm dives in and grabs Inday's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inday pushes down on Mmm's head and hops out. Inday seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Inday closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Inday lands in his opponent's guard. Mmm is looking to stand back up but Inday counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mmm. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Zambosurian Inday dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Mmm closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Inday quickly recovers to half guard. Mmm tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Inday. Inday is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mmm is keen to just control but Inday is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inday is trying is best to control the position here. Inday is staying active underneath Mmm, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Inday is concentrating on defense, preventing Mmm from advancing position. Inday is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mmm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Inday pulls Mmm in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zambosurian Inday overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mmm's corner is telling him to maintain position. Mmm wants to get up but he can't break Inday's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Inday pulls Mmm in close to his closed guard and prevents Mmm from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Inday throws a push kick but Mmm slaps the foot to one side. Despite the aggression on Mmm's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Mmm shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Inday but Inday pushes him off and we're back to square one. A counter left hand to the body from Inday misses its target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Inday drives through with a takedown into Mmm's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Inday content to stall in guard here. Mmm Mmm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zambosurian Inday is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Mmm Mmm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Inday has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
