Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Speedy Mcballin (ranked 5097 p4p, 4544 weight class) and Manny Paiwia (ranked 463 p4p, 444 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Speedy Mcballin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Paiwia! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Paiwia - just one landing. Mcballin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Mcballin tries to keep at a distance but Paiwia has taken the fight into the clinch. Paiwia tries to work over Mcballin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Paiwia lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Paiwia lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Mcballin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Paiwia pulls his leg out and moves away.
A head kick misses from Mcballin. It seemed like Paiwia was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Paiwia stuffs the takedown attempt from Mcballin. Mcballin gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paiwia keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mcballin tries to keep at a distance but Paiwia has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paiwia lands a damaging elbow. Mcballin managing to block the knees to the body from Paiwia.
Paiwia lands with a light punch inside. Mcballin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Paiwia trying to land knees to the body.
Paiwia pushes Mcballin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Paiwia tries to land a knee to the head but Mcballin blocks with his arms.
Paiwia is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mcballin can't fight it off and eventually Paiwia manages to take the fight to the floor. Mcballin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Paiwia is fighting to break Mcballin's control of his arms but Mcballin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paiwia throws a big right hand that misses. Mcballin keeping moving, preventing Paiwia from controlling successfully. Paiwia with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Paiwia sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mcballin's guard. Paiwia is pressing down on Mcballin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mcballin is holding on for now. Mcballin is refusing to be controlled, as Paiwia sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Paiwia connects with a nice short shot to Mcballin's temple. Paiwia is looking to take a break and control but Mcballin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Paiwia might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcballin haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Paiwia takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Paiwia trying to control from half guard but Mcballin is working away.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. We've been informed that Paiwia has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Paiwia moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mcballin tries to clinch up. Mcballin throws a sloppy head kick and Paiwia counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mcballin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Paiwia circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Speedy Mcballin. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fighters circle momentarily. Paiwia darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Paiwia scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mcballin in his tracks. Paiwia throws out a loose jab but Mcballin uses good head movement to avoid it. Mcballin appears to be looking for a big counter. Paiwia shoots in but Mcballin avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Paiwia instigates a clinch. Paiwia breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Manny Paiwia dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Mcballin throws a head kick but Paiwia moves out of range.
Paiwia takes the fight into the clinch. Paiwia lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mcballin backwards. Paiwia wants the takedown. Mcballin is fighting it off but Paiwia persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mcballin's guard against the cage. Mcballin scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Paiwia lands with a straight right. Mcballin didn't see that one coming. Paiwia fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcballin, pushing him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paiwia will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mcballin up against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mcballin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Paiwia to keep the fight standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paiwia lands a nice knee to the body. Paiwia misses with an elbow strike.
Manny Paiwia seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Paiwia lands with a short head shot on the inside. Paiwia lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Mcballin creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Paiwia softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Paiwia lands a nice elbow. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Paiwia. Come on Paiwia - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paiwia has Mcballin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Paiwia pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mcballin tumbling to the mat - Paiwia dives into Mcballin's guard. Paiwia wants to pass the guard but Mcballin is keeping the position. Paiwia wants to control from the top but Mcballin keeps moving. Paiwia working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Mcballin keeping moving, preventing Paiwia from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paiwia looking to pass the guard. Mcballin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Paiwia advances position into side control! Paiwia trying to control the position but Mcballin is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Paiwia lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Manny Paiwia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Mcballin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mcballin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Paiwia. Jab from Paiwia. Mcballin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Paiwia. Manny Paiwia seems to be getting the better of the standup. Paiwia closes the distance and clinches. Paiwia trying to land knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Paiwia lands a good knee to the midsection. Mcballin won't want to take too many of those. Paiwia lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Paiwia gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcballin is staying active underneath Paiwia, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mcballin wants to control but Paiwia is keeping busy and won't allow it. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mcballin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mcballin wants it to stay on the feet. Paiwia feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mcballins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Paiwia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcballin's waist but Mcballin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paiwia off to one side. Mcballin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Paiwia swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Mcballin moves out of range as Paiwia strikes. Paiwia has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A slow jab from Paiwia misses its intended target. Paiwia loads up on a big right hand but Mcballin slips the punch. Paiwia might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paiwia fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mcballin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Paiwia keeps the fight on the outside. A little jabbing left from Paiwia on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Paiwia shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mcballin napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mcballin bucks up and tries to throw Paiwia off but instead Paiwia has got his back! Mcballin trying to get back to his feet but Paiwia is in full control for now. Paiwia struggling to keep hold of the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcballin rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Mcballin is staying active underneath Paiwia, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mcballin wants to control but Paiwia passes into side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paiwia looks up at the clock and then as Mcballin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Paiwia smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

And that's the end of the fight! Manny Paiwia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Paiwia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
