Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Bond (ranked 4966 p4p, 4000 weight class) and RJ Lucy (ranked 523 p4p, 480 weight class). Gunner Bond could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to RJ Lucy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunner Bond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, RJ Lucy!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lucy is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Bond swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Lucy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bond is looking to slow Lucy down with leg kicks.
Gunner Bond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bond throws a lazy uppercut
and Lucy counters with a straight right hand.
Nice jab there from Bond.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bond lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lucy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lucy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bond moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Lucy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Good exchange - Bond coming out on top.
Bond on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Lucy throws a big shot that misses.
Bond throws a jab but it's blocked by Lucy.
Lucy throws a series of strikes that have Bond backpedaling.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Bond pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lucy is out of range and Bond settles back down.
Lucy digs a good hook to Bond's body.
A low kick lands for Bond.
Bond misses with a straight left.
Lucy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bond lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bond lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lucy's sensitive parts.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Lucy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Some wild striking there from Lucy.
Bond throws out a loose jab but Lucy uses good head movement to avoid it.
A low kick lands for Bond.
Some bone on bone action there as Lucy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Lucy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bond throws a quick counter kick to the body but Lucy avoids it.
Lucy moves out of range of the leg kick from Bond.
Lucy throws out a counter right but Bond avoids it with no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lucy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bond.
Bond fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lucy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lucy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bond feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Lucy misses with an uppercut. Bond saw that one coming.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gunner Bond dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Bond misses with a left hand
and Lucy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bond tries to land a leg kick but Lucy saw it coming and moves away.
A nice side step and Lucy releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Lucy tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bond tried to score with a low kick but Lucy checks it.
Lucy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bond looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Lucy throws an overhand right that lands on Bond's shoulder, as Bond tries to avoid the shot.
Nice shot lands for Lucy.

Bond uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lucy.
Bond swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Bond scores with a jab.
Lucy looks to land a left hand but Bond moved out of range nicely.
Bond lands a big uppercut and Lucy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lucy looks OK. Bond waves Lucy back to his feet!
Lucy is rocked!
Lucy gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Bond points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Lucy wakes up just in time to hear Bond thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gunner Bond!
A relieved looking Gunner Bond thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
