Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Palmotic (ranked 938 p4p, 565 weight class) and AJ Brown (ranked 126 p4p, 83 weight class). Palmotic comes to the cage accompanied by One day I'll be king. Brown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ace Hood - Undefeated kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

enabling Brown to counter with a crisp jab.
Brown throws a push kick but Palmotic slaps the foot to one side.

It looks like AJ Brown has been cut.
Brown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Palmotic went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Brown sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Brown's corner calls for a 1-2. Brown obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Palmotic drops Brown with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brown looks back up at him and smiles so Palmotic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Palmotic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Brown counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That kick from Brown tenderised Palmotic's leg. Palmotic is trying to keep his angry face on.
Brown clobbers Palmotic with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Brown bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Palmotic's head.

The crowd cheers as Brown lands an impressive looking overhand right. Palmotic doesn't seem phased though.

As Brown looks to move away, Palmotic throws a big counter combo but Brown just gets out of the way.

Palmotic will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Some bone on bone action there as Palmotic checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Palmotic's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Palmotic scrambles back to his feet.
Brown chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Palmotic can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That has opened up AJ Brown's cut even more.
Brown moves into range and connects with a jab.
Palmotic throws a leg kick but Brown sees it coming and moves out of range.

Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Palmotic manages to avoid it.
A counter left hand to the body from Palmotic misses its target.
Palmotic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Brown throws a solid leg kick but Palmotic takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Brown.
