And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Sabanov!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Sabanov!
Sabanov throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Sabanov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Johnson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sabanov has his takedown stuffed
and Johnson counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Sabanov off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Johnson follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Sabanov was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Curtis Johnson!
