Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Williams (ranked 1678 p4p, 2186 weight class) and Sone Fujimaro (ranked 174 p4p, 222 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spencer Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sone Fujimaro! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Fujimaro. Fujimaro pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Fujimaro waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Williams. Sone Fujimaro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams lands a nice looking kick to the body. Fujimaro takes a step back to recover. Williams is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fujimaro works Williams's body with a nice hook. Williams doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fujimaro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fujimaro misses with a hook. Williams ducked under it nicely. Fujimaro checks a low kick from Williams. Fujimaro lands a nice leg kick that just misses Williams's sensitive parts. Fujimaro throws a right hand that misses
letting Williams counter with a right hand. Fujimaro moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fujimaro connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Williams scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Fujimaro. That's going to slow Williams down. Fujimaro dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Williams. That did some damage! A nice leg kick from Williams, right into the meat of the thigh.

Fujimaro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A little feinted left hand from Williams on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. A punch lands to the side of Williams 's head but he takes it in his stride. Williams scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Fujimaro thumps Williams with a low kick. Nice cross by Williams. Fujimaro looks to land a left hand but Williams moved out of range nicely. Fujimaro dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Williams. That did some damage! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams avoids the body shot from Fujimaro.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fujimaro scoring well with a low kick there.
Williams wants to clinch. Fujimaro throws a right hand that misses
and Williams counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Fujimaro! Williams creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fujimaro sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Fujimaro being controlled for a moment. Williams in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Williams throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams tries to advance to mount but can't. Williams trying to control the position but Fujimaro is working away. Williams throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Fujimaro works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Williams is working for a kimura but Fujimaro is defending it quite comfortably.
Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fujimaro keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fujimaro pushes Williams off looking to stand but Williams dives back in and keeps control.
Fujimaro won't allow Williams to pass to mount. Fujimaro is not content to let Williams control the position. Fujimaro blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams. Fujimaro avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Williams. Williams keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fujimaro connects with an inside leg kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sone Fujimaro dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! A big right from Fujimaro misses. Williams shoots for a takedown but Fujimaro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A jab lands there for Fujimaro. Williams misses with a looping right. Fujimaro lands a jab to the nose. Williams with a jab. Fujimaro showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
Williams fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fujimaro works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujimaro fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Williams is out of range. A little feinted left hand from Williams on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. A slow jab from Fujimaro misses its intended target. Williams tries to counter with a takedown but Fujimaro is quick to defend against it. Williams takes a jab right on the kisser.

Fujimaro dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Williams. That did some damage! Fujimaro throws a hook but Williams blocks it. Fujimaro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams. A low kick lands for Fujimaro.

Williams attempts a counter takedown but Fujimaro avoids it well and moves away. Fujimaro throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Williams throwing a counter right hand but Fujimaro manages to avoid it. Fujimaro throws a leg kick and Williams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fujimaro won't be happy with that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fujimaro is trying to get back to his feet. Williams misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Fujimaro wants to get back to his feet. Williams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Williams trying to control the action but Fujimaro is working from the bottom. Fujimaro is trying to buck Williams off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fujimaro rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Williams's guard! Nice work there by Fujimaro! Williams is working an open guard so Fujimaro takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sone Fujimaro seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fujimaro throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Fujimaro fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fujimaro throws a jab when Williams was well out of range. Williams keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fujimaro slips under a jab from Williams. Williams bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Williams appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Williams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fujimaro was well out of range. Poor timing from Williams. Williams scores with a jab to the body. Williams shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. This has been an exciting period of action! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Williams. Fujimaro misses with an uppercut. Williams saw that one coming. Williams ducks under a wild hook from Fujimaro. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sone Fujimaro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Fujimaro misses with a straight right. Fujimaro is looking to slow Williams down with leg kicks. Fujimaro scores with a leg kick.
Fujimaro lands a leg kick that knocks Williams off balance momentarily. Williams fails to land the takedown. A nice leg kick lands there from Fujimaro. Fujimaro fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fujimaro defends well and Williams ends up having to push Fujimaro into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Williams scores with a shoulder strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Williams creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Williams is trying to pull guard but Fujimaro has him pressed against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spencer Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fujimaro tries to circle away but Williams has him pinned against the cage. Fujimaro working hard to break the clinch. Williams taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Fujimaro is trying to push Williams away but Williams has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Williams is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Williams pulls Fujimaro into guard.
Fujimaro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Williams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fujimaro has managed to get both his arms back between Williams's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fujimaro would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Fujimaro must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Williams looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fujimaro stands up from guard. Let's bang! Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Fujimaro sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fujimaro appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Fujimaro, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Fujimaro against the cage but Fujimaro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Williams ducks right into an uppercut from Fujimaro. Sone Fujimaro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Williams's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result. Fujimaro throws a nice inside leg kick. Fujimaro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Williams takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A decent looking cross lands there for Fujimaro. Fujimaro looks to land a left hand but Williams moved out of range nicely. Williams shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Fujimaro lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Williams has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fujimaro. Williams throws a solid leg kick but Fujimaro takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Williams. Fujimaro appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Williams cracks a nice hook into Fujimaro's ribs. Fujimaro cracks Williams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Fujimaro scores with a jab to the body. Fujimaro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fujimaro lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Williams has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Williams and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fujimaro with the inside leg kick. A swing and a miss from Williams. Fujimaro pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Spencer Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fujimaro clobbers Williams with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams cracks Fujimaro with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Fujimaro keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Williams. Fujimaro lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fujimaro. Williams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. It looks like Williams has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Williams throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fujimaro counters with a nice uppercut. Fujimaro lands the left hand. Williams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Sone Fujimaro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Fujimaro winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
