Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Hunt (ranked 3180 p4p, 3829 weight class) and Dusty Sleeth (ranked 387 p4p, 407 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ethan Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dusty Sleeth! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sleeth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Sleeth's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sleeth tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hunt trying to control the action but Sleeth is working from the bottom. Hunt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sleeth has escaped the position, nice work there. Hunt trying to control the action but Sleeth is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sleeth is trying to control Hunt's posture but Hunt avoids it. Sleeth manages to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sleeth keeps control of the position for the meantime. Hunt lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Sleeth wants to control but Hunt is keeping busy.
Sleeth moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hunt distracts Sleeth with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Our spies down at at Deep waters inform us that Sleeth has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Sleeth throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sleeth controlling Hunt's posture. Hunt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hunt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sleeth is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hunt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sleeth works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hunt looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Sleeth is pulling down on Hunt's head to control his posture. Hunt postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt with a flurry of punches that miss. Sleeth trying to control the position here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hunt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sleeth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hunt throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Sleeth works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Sleeth has his hands clasped together around Hunt's back. He's all about the action. Sleeth works his way to full guard. Good work. Sleeth not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt wants to control from the top but Sleeth keeps moving. Sleeth lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Hunt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hunt tries to get out of the position. Sleeth trying to control but Hunt is working from the bottom. Hunt looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunt, not yet. Hunt is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sleeth is controlling him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sleeth is working Hunt over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hunt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sleeth on the ground. Sleeth trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hunt is looking for a triangle here but Sleeth uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ethan Hunt dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Hunt dips to his left and cracks Sleeth with an uppercut! Hunt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Horrible takedown attempt by Sleeth or perhaps it was just good defense by Hunt, which made it look bad. Sleeth looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunt is fending him off so far but Sleeth persists. Nope, Hunt circles away and we're back to standing. Hunt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Sleeth! Sleeth gets back to half guard. Sleeth is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sleeth trying to control but Hunt postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sleeth keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Hunt misses with a head shot. Sleeth uses the momentum to regain guard. Sleeth avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sleeth is trying to keep Hunt in close.
Hunt looking to sit in guard and control but Sleeth gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sleeth landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sleeth lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hunt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sleeth can do to turn this around? Sleeth working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hunt's head. Sleeth is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Ethan Hunt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hunt wants to stand up but Sleeth is controlling him. Sleeth chips away with some ground and pound. Sleeth scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Sleeth content to stall in guard here. Hunt keeping moving, preventing Sleeth from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt controls Sleeth momentarily but Sleeth frees himself. Sleeth lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hunt pushes Sleeth off and gets back to his feet.
Sleeth looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Sleeth postures up and lands a big shot to Hunt's brow. Hunt trying to keep a closed guard but Sleeth is proving a slippery customer.
Sleeth seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sleeth stops Hunt from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sleeth postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Sleeth is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hunt wants to stand and escape but Sleeth is having none of it. Sleeth keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hunt's head. Sleeth working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hunt's head. Sleeth is in close to Hunt's body, working some short punches and elbows. Sleeth is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hunt wants to stand but Sleeth is controlling the position. Hunt working a defensive guard but Sleeth manages to pass into side control anyway.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Dusty Sleeth will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round! Sleeth shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hunt pinned against the cage. Hunt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hunt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sleeth shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hunt is trying to defend but Sleeth finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Hunt trying to control but Sleeth postures up.
Sleeth working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunt scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Sleeth manages to mount him!
Sleeth landing strikes, looking to finish! Sleeth lands with some strikes. Sleeth with good strikes from the mount here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sleeth lands a nice shot to the head. Sleeth avoids the attempt from Hunt to control. Sleeth connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Sleeth with shots to the head and body - Hunt looks very uncomfortable down there. Sleeth in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Sleeth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sleeth has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hunt's face.
You get the feeling that Hunt really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hunt is trying desperately to improve position. Sleeth working away from the top, dropping strikes. Hunt tries to hold on but Sleeth postures up. Sleeth lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sleeth working away from the top, dropping strikes. A big strike lands for Sleeth! That's really hurt Hunt and he's turned his back - Sleeth keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Sleeth jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
