Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pepetinho Perez (ranked 5275 p4p, 3270 weight class) and Tony Spade (ranked 423 p4p, 327 weight class). Spade comes into a darkened arena with his song building. A Better View kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pepetinho Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Spade! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spade throws a hook but Perez blocks it. Spade feints a jab promting Perez to slip. Spade then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Perez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Perez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Spade stuns Perez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Spade lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Perez at a distance.
Tony Spade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perez fails in his attempt to clinch. Perez clinches. Perez throws an elbow but it misses.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Perez obliges. Perez tries to circle away but Spade has him pinned against the cage. Spade prevents a body shot from Perez. Spade holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Spade's coach down at Pure Progress Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Spade's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Perez breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez slips a straight right by Spade. Perez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spade swats him away and circles back towards the center. Spade lands a jab. A swing and a miss from Spade. Spade lands with a cross. Spade throws a series of strikes that have Perez backpedaling.
Perez staying out of range there. Spade throws an overhand right that drops Perez like a sack of potatoes! Spade dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
