Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Zeppelin (ranked 4262 p4p, 25067 weight class) and Jezro Silver (ranked 513 p4p, 674 weight class). Jezro Silver has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kyle Zeppelin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Zeppelin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jezro Silver! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver lands a really nice looking cross but Zeppelin seems unphased.
It looks like Kyle Zeppelin has been cut. Zeppelin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zeppelin showed some decent athleticism there. Zeppelin is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Zeppelin controlling his opponent. Silver is in all sorts of trouble here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zeppelin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Silver tries to get back to half guard but can't. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silver can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zeppelin controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silver wants to hold on but Zeppelin pushes him away. Silver tries to get back to half guard but can't. Zeppelin trying to control but he's not successful this time. Zeppelin cracks Silver with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Zeppelin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silver is looking to escape. Zeppelin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zeppelin raining down shots from the mount! Silver tries to reverse the position but Zeppelin maintains control. Silver doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Silver tries to hold on but Zeppelin postures up. Silver tries to reverse the position but Zeppelin maintains control. Silver is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Zeppelin content just to control the position here. Silver sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Zeppelin stands up and beckons Silver to join him on the feet. Silver throws a poor cross that misses
and Zeppelin counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Zeppelin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Silver uses from the top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Silver's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Zeppelin throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silver working some strikes from top position. Zeppelin keeping moving, preventing Silver from controlling successfully. We've been informed that Silver has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Silver postures up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Silver's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Zeppelin keeping moving, preventing Silver from controlling successfully. Silver controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Silver in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silver avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Zeppelin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kyle Zeppelin's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Zeppelin staying out of range there. Silver throws a right hand that Zeppelin ducks under and follows up with a left that Zeppelin also avoids with ease. Silver bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Zeppelin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silver. Zeppelin slips a jab and a cross from Silver.
Silver circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silver is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zeppelin's half guard. Zeppelin is trying to stand back up but Silver is controlling him
Zeppelin connecting with a few gentle strikes. Zeppelin wants to improve his position but Silver is controlling well.
Silver is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silver passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Zeppelin!
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Zeppelin is looking to escape. Zeppelin is trying desperately to improve position. Kyle Zeppelin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Silver lands with some strikes. A big strike lands for Silver! That's really hurt Zeppelin and he's turned his back - Silver keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Silver jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jezro Silver! After winning the bout, Jezro Silver thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
