Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between White Rain (ranked 422 p4p, 483 weight class) and Red Crow (ranked 69 p4p, 79 weight class). Rain comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. White Rain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, White Rain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Red Crow! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crow lands a leg kick that knocks Rain off balance momentarily. Crow throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rain counters with a nice uppercut. Rain throws a leg kick and Crow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like White Rain has been cut. Crow finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Crow lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Rain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rain swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Rain avoids the head kick by Crow.
Crow throws out a loose jab but Rain uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rain connects with a nice looking jab.
Crow lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Rain throws a lazy right hand but Crow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crow missing with a left hand there. Rain was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A left and a right from Crow both land. Nice combination. Crow getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Rain throws a nice inside leg kick. Rain chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crow can pounce on him.

Crow throws a sloppy head kick and Rain moves out of range easily. Rain lands with a nice body punch. Crow misses with a straight right. Rain blocks a head kick by Crow.
Rain is looking to counter punch. Rain has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. A head kick by Rain misses and Crow counters with a big head kick but Rain shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rain moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Red Crow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crow scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Crow avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crow looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Rain lands a jab to the head.
Rain throws a hook but Crow blocks it. A clash of legs there as Crow blocks the low kick. A head kick by Crow misses and Rain counters with a nice leg kick. Rain tries to clinch there but Crow circles away.

and Rain counters with a crisp one two that drops Crow! Rain thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Crow to his feet! Crow is in big trouble!
Crow is rocked! Rain has closed the distance and engaged Crow in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Crow to keep the fight standing. Crow seems to have recovered his senses. Rain blocking some punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rain. Crow tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rain jumps guard but Crow turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Crow goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rain decides to pull guard. Rain wants to sweep but no luck. Rain keeping moving, preventing Crow from controlling successfully. Rain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rain controls Crow momentarily but Crow frees himself. Crow controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Crow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Crow postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rain looking for a guillotine here but Crow defends easily.
Rain is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Crow sitting in guard here, content to control. Rain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Red Crow dominated that round. The cut man is working on White Rain's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Rain checks a low kick from Crow. Rain takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rain looks to land a combination but Crow avoids it well. Rain backing away here, and Crow unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Sloppy strikes from Rain. Those never looked like landing. Rain tried to score with a low kick but Crow checks it. A head kick misses from Crow. Rain is looking to clinch but Crow is avoiding it.

Crow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crow misses with a leg kick. Jab, jab by Rain - just one landing. Rain pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Crow misses with a two punch combination.

Crow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Crow won't allow Rain to sweep him here. Crow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rain swivels though and keeps the full guard. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Crow wants to clinch. White Rain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Crow pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Rain throws a hook to the side of Crow's head but Crow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Crow tried to score with a low kick but Rain checks it. Rain appears to be looking for a big counter. Crow attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. As Crow backs away, Rain returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crow throws a low kick, looking for Rain's leg but Rain calmly moves out of range. Crow lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Crow cracks Rain with an open hand slap. Crow swats away the attempt to clinch by Rain. Rain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crow circles away quickly and effectively. Rain slips under a jab from Crow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rain takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
And that's the end of the fight! Red Crow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Crow winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
