Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Morbius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pepe Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morbius drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Morbius drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jackson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jackson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jackson!
Jackson wants to stand but Morbius has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Morbius looking for a guillotine here but Jackson defends easily.

Morbius has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Morbius is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jackson wanted to stand there but Morbius had control of the position.

Morbius has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.

Morbius looking for a guillotine here but Jackson defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morbius looking for subs off his back but Jackson has passed one foot through into half guard.

Jackson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jackson gets to his feet - Morbius follows without any prompting.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt

and Morbius counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morbius drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Morbius off! Morbius jumps back into Jackson's guard.
Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Morbius is controlling him.
Jackson is looking to sweep but instead, Morbius has passed into half guard.

Jackson wants to stand back up but Morbius manages to pass into side control.

Jackson wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Morbius has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Jackson's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Jackson is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Morbius!
