Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ruas.
Ruas shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ruas not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tsoy wants to improve his position but Ruas is controlling well.
We've been hearing good reports from Ruas's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Tsoy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ruas.
Ruas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tsoy keeps working.
Ruas scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsoy is trying to maintain the position but Ruas is very close to passing his half guard.
Tsoy is not content to let Ruas control the position.
Tsoy is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Ruas has latched onto it... Big trouble! Ruas pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Tsoy is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Ruas!
