Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Storo (ranked 4597 p4p, 3478 weight class) and Dan Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Storo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Storo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dan Miles!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storo looks to land a combination. Miles sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Storo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miles, pushing him back against the cage.
Storo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miles avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Storo tries to pull guard but Miles holds him up against the cage and eventually Storo drops back down to his feet.
Miles prevents Storo from breaking the clinch.
Storo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Miles has clasped his hands together around Storo's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Storo counters with a three punch combo that has Miles backing up. Miles nods at Storo to acknowledge the strikes.
Storo shoots in for a double leg but Miles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Storo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Miles's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Miles is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Storo can't fight it off and eventually Miles manages to take the fight to the floor. Storo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Miles turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miles manages to end up in side control.
Miles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Storo keeps working.

Miles avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

I would just about give that final round to Dan Miles.
I think Miles has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
