The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez's coach down at Clark's Champion's was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sanchez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Sanchez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

GU throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sanchez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Sanchez lands an overhand right.
GU walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sanchez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling GU to score with a decent uppercut.
Sanchez has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanchez bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of GU's head.

GU is rocked!
Sanchez steps in with a hook that catches GU right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Sanchez follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! GU looks absolutely devastated.
