Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Rusev (ranked 2112 p4p, 1529 weight class) and Ragnar Ragnarsson (ranked 270 p4p, 200 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ragnar Ragnarsson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusev has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ragnarsson finds it's way round the side to connect with Rusev's head.
It looks like Alexander Rusev has been cut.
Rusev shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Rusev tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ragnarsson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rusev has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ragnarsson defend it? Rusev steps over the head and cranks it - Ragnarsson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rusev!
