Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Travis Lutter (ranked 3535 p4p, 2407 weight class) and Roelof Gerritzen (ranked 426 p4p, 0 weight class). Lutter's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Island Boy. Travis Lutter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roelof Gerritzen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Travis Lutter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roelof Gerritzen! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Gerritzen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gerritzen.
It looks like Travis Lutter has been cut. Nice sprawl there from Gerritzen as Lutter shoots in. Lutter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gerritzen's waist but Gerritzen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lutter off to one side. Lutter doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gerritzen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Lutter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lutter ducks right into an uppercut from Gerritzen. Lutter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Monkey Business in the buildup to the fight. Lutter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gerritzen tries to avoid it but Lutter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gerritzen to the ground. Gerritzen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Lutter or perhaps it was just good defense by Gerritzen, which made it look bad. Lutter shoots in looking for a takedown. Gerritzen tries to sprawl out of it but Lutter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gerritzen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gerritzen! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gerritzen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gerritzen wants it to stay on the feet. It seemed like Gerritzen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Gerritzen lands a right hook to the body.
Gerritzen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Gerritzen moves in close and cracks Lutter with a massive right hand! Lutter, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Gerritzen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roelof Gerritzen! The defeated Travis Lutter had this to say: 'Travis Lutter is like the Michael Jordan of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu'.
