Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 4971 p4p, 5826 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bitok has a takedown stuffed.
Buktot throws a big counter combination but Bitok scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Bitok fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bitok seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Buktot closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bitok's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buktot looking to sit in guard and control but Bitok gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bitok or perhaps it was just good defense by Buktot, which made it look bad.
And Buktot counters with a quick kick to the body but Bitok blocks it.

Buktot closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bitok did well to prevent Buktot getting side control.

Buktot perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Bitok is doing well to control the position and prevent Buktot from advancing to side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Buktot passes Bitok's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bitok has his hands clasped together around Buktot's back. He's all about the action.
Bitok wants to get back to full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Bitok displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buktot.
Bitok replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Buktot blocks it well.

Buktot is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bitok's half guard.
Bitok is trying to control but can't.

Buktot looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bitok keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Bitok.
Buktot jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Buktot darts in looking for a takedown but Bitok gets double underhooks and turns Buktot into the cage.
Bitok replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Buktot blocks it well.
Bitok is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Buktot pulls him back up using the underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bitok changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Buktot fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Buktot gets caught napping as Bitok dives in and scores a takedown. Buktot manages to retain guard.

Buktot wants to sweep but no luck.
Bitok trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Buktot has control of Bitok's left arm, preventing Bitok from doing any damage.
Buktot utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bitok content to stall in guard here.
Buktot is trying to control the position but Bitok postures up.
Buktot is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bitok can do to turn this around?

Bitok dives in and grabs Buktot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Buktot pushes down on Bitok's head and hops out.

Bitok thinks about the counter body kick.
Bitok fails with a takedown attempt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bitok looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Buktot throws a quick counter kick to the body but Bitok avoids it.
Buktot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bitok circles away.

Bitok is looking for the big counter here.
Kulata Bitok has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dawindi Buktot is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Buktot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
