Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Stamis (ranked 4835 p4p, 4779 weight class) and Haroon Bloggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stamis comes to the cage accompanied by Full House Opening Theme. Haroon Bloggs has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Danny Stamis's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloggs tries to land a front kick but Stamis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bloggs closes the distance and clinches up with Stamis, looking for a takedown. Bloggs pushes Stamis against the cage but Stamis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stamis shoots in and bounces Bloggs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bloggs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stamis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bloggs has his foot on Stamis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stamis works his way back into a safe position though.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Stamis gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Stamis apologises and we restart here on the feet.
