Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Beta PF (ranked 22238 p4p, 5517 weight class) and Theodore Epicity (ranked 634 p4p, 583 weight class). Epicity is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tempest by Deftones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Theodore Epicity!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PF misses the body punch
and Epicity counters with a nice low kick that buckles PF's knee momentarily.
PF cracks Epicity with a good jab.
Epicity looks to score with a jab to the body but PF is just out of range.
That kick from PF tenderised Epicity's leg. Epicity is trying to keep his angry face on.
PF throws a body punch but Epicity moves out of range.

Epicity has managed to clinch.
Epicity pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

I was talking to PF's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Beta PF will probably get the nod.

Epicity goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Epicity throws an overhand right that lands on PF's shoulder, as PF tries to avoid the shot.
PF throws a leg kick but Epicity moved away.
Epicity lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Epicity throws a right and a left that both miss.
An attempted straight right counter from PF misses the target.
PF throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Epicity on the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
PF lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
PF lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
PF catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Epicity stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Epicity walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
PF rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Epicity counters with a right hand to the body.

Epicity uses good head movement to avoid the hook from PF.
PF fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Epicity has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Epicity swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
PF throws a leg kick but Epicity sees it coming and checks it nicely.
PF cracks Epicity with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Epicity get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Epicity looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
PF throws a hook to the side of Epicity's head but Epicity sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

PF tries to move into range but Epicity moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
PF pivots, looking for a leg kick but Epicity is out of range and PF settles back down.
PF drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Epicity has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Epicity there as he acknowledges the shot.
PF throws a lazy uppercut
and Epicity counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Epicity takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Epicity misses with a head kick.

An inside leg kick lands from PF.
PF tries to bum rush Epicity with a series of wild strikes but Epicity uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Epicity wants to counter with a clinch but PF pushes him away.
PF looks to throw the jab but Epicity is out of range.
PF throws a low kick, looking for Epicity's leg but Epicity calmly moves out of range.
Epicity walks forward, straight into a front kick from PF.
Epicity blocks a jab.
PF misses with a body shot.
Epicity throws a shot to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for PF.
PF ducks under a wild hook from Epicity.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Epicity throws the kick towards the body but PF avoids it.
No joy there for PF, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
PF uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Epicity has time to react.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

PF bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Epicity is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Theodore Epicity.
