Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Cecil Lightning (ranked 5113 p4p, 6047 weight class) and Jake Demuss (ranked 562 p4p, 620 weight class). Demuss is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Demuss!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning misses the shot to the body.
Demuss swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Demuss throws a leg kick but Lightning checks it.
An attempted straight right counter from Lightning misses the target.
Demuss throws a leg kick which misses Lightning's front leg but catches the back leg as Lightning tries to avoid it.
Lightning looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lightning with a nice cross.
It looks like Jake Demuss has been cut.
Lightning lands with a nice body punch.

A head kick misses from Lightning.
Demuss goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lightning looks to land a body kick but Demuss moved away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Demuss slips a jab from Lightning.
Lightning takes a swing at Demuss's ribcage but misses.
Demuss throws a counter combo.
Lightning throws a head kick that misses.

Lightning throws a push kick but Demuss slaps the foot to one side.
Lightning throws a body punch but Demuss moves out of range.
Lightning cracks Demuss with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lightning connects with a quick right hand that sends Demuss tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Cecil Lightning!
