The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponjevic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Reem's guard.
Ponjevic is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Reem is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Reem has escaped and now he's on top!
Reem in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Reem trying to control the position from guard on top but Ponjevic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ponjevic looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Reem is defending well. Ponjevic quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Reem has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ponjevic celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
