Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Hartwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Green closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hartwell to the mat! Hartwell manages to get full guard.
Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Hartwell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hartwell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hartwell bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Green's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hartwell tries to free his leg and advance position but Green is retaining full guard.
Green had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hartwell is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Green Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hartwell's back instead.
Hartwell is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Green missing with strikes.
Hartwell looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Green is looking to control Hartwell but Hartwell is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Hartwell is trying to get back to his feet but Green has full control of the position and if anything, Hartwell has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Hartwell is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Green gets his way!

Hartwell looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Green is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Hartwell trying to control the position but Green manages to sink in the hooks.
Hartwell turns into Green and is now in his guard.
Green is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hartwell is controlling him.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Hartwell decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Hartwell bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Green thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hartwell if he has to take too many more of those.

and Green decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hartwell's guard.
Green is breathing heavily.
Hartwell is trying to control the position but Green postures up.
Hartwell looking for a guillotine here but Green defends easily.
Green slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Green thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hartwell sneaks back into half guard.
Hartwell is pressing down on Green's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hartwell throws a lazy head kick
and Green counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hartwell wants to hit a switch here but Green passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hartwell there!
Hartwell defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Green.
Green trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hartwell can't escape the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hartwell tries to hold on but Green pushes him away.
Hartwell is squirming around, avoiding Green's attempts to control the action.

Hartwell is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Green pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hartwell is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Green is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hartwell can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hartwell tries to hold on but Green postures up.
Green throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hartwell because Green loaded up on that one.

Hartwell trying desperately to get to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Green working the ground and pound effectively.
Hartwell regains half guard.
Green wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hartwell keeps working.
Hartwell actively working from the bottom here.
Green stalling.
Green wants to free his trapped foot but Hartwell is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Green is keen to just control but Hartwell is a slippery customer.
Hartwell is trying to control but can't.
Hartwell pushes Green off looking to stand but Green dives back in and keeps control.
Green looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Green fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hartwell stuffs the takedown.
Hartwell gets the takedown into side control.

Hartwell stands up.
A solid leg kick lands there for Green.
Hartwell lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Hartwell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Green looks for a takedown but Hartwell sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Green. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Green doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hartwell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Green won't be happy with that.
Hartwell is looking to take a break and control but Green is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Hartwell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Hartwell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Green's face.

Green is desperately trying to improve his position but Hartwell has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hartwell can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Green is looking to escape.

Hartwell is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Hartwell!
