Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Kosmanov (ranked 1064 p4p, 1321 weight class) and Rico Cole (ranked 149 p4p, 178 weight class). Cole comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gerardo's Rico Suave kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosmanov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cole throws a hook to the side of Kosmanov's head but Kosmanov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kosmanov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cole throws a hook but Kosmanov blocks it.
Cole takes a swing at Kosmanov's ribcage but misses.
Kosmanov looks to score with a jab to the body but Cole is just out of range.
Cole dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cole tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kosmanov was well out of range. Poor timing from Cole.

Kosmanov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Grunt in the buildup to the fight.

and Kosmanov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Cole throws out a leg kick but Kosmanov moves out of range and Cole only half commits.
Kosmanov drops his hands momentarily and Cole takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cole throws a looping overhand right but Kosmanov ducks down to avoid it.

enabling Kosmanov to counter with a crisp jab.

Cole is rocked!

Kosmanov lands a big right hand that sends Cole crashing to the mat! Kosmanov stays standing though and waves Cole back to his feet!
Cole is still on wobbly legs! Can Kosmanov finish him?
Cole throws a lazy uppercut
and Kosmanov counters with a right hand to the body.
Cole looks winded!
Cole switches off momentarily and Kosmanov cracks him with a monster right hand! Cole topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Kosmanov dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Kosmanov!
