Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mugshot takes a swing at Wade's ribcage but misses.
Mugshot stuffs the takedown.

Wade closes the distance and pushes Mugshot back into the cage.

Mugshot breaks from the clinch.
Mugshot looks to land a right hand but Wade moved out of range.
Wade takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wade steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mugshot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wade has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Wade manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Wade pulls Mugshot in close to his closed guard and prevents Mugshot from doing any damage or advancing position.
