Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Willie Layer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayaen Porfirigo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Porfirigo drives through and clinches with Layer against the cage.
Porfirigo is working for takedown but Layer is calmly controlling the position for now.
Porfirigo blocks an uppercut.
Layer gets underhooks to prevent Porfirigo's takedown attempt.
Porfirigo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Layer is defending well.
Willie Layer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tayaen Porfirigo.
Layer misses with a hook from the clinch.
Layer lands a shoulder strike.

Porfirigo breaks from the clinch.
No luck for Porfirigo with that takedown attempt.
Layer blocks a leg kick.
Layer throws a series of punches but Porfirigo moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Porfirigo clinches up against the cage.
Layer scores with an uppercut up the middle.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Layer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Porfirigo breaks from the clinch.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Porfirigo.
Porfirigo drops his hands momentarily and Layer takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Willie Layer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Porfirigo gets a takedown into half guard.
Porfirigo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Layer keeps working.
Layer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Layer tries to get out of the position.
Porfirigo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Layer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Porfirigo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Layer defend it? Porfirigo steps over the head and cranks it - Layer is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Porfirigo!
