Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucca Burt (ranked 2262 p4p, 4995 weight class) and John Swanson (ranked 306 p4p, 573 weight class). The key to victory for Lucca Burt has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucca Burt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Swanson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Burt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Swanson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burt as he avoids it easily.
It looked like Burt was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Swanson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burt.
Burt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Swanson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Burt won't be happy with that.
Swanson is chipping away with strikes.
Burt takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Burt throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Swanson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Swanson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Swanson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Burt is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Swanson is chipping away with strikes.
Burt takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Swanson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Burt throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Burt tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Swanson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Burt is trying to improve his position.
Burt is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Swanson looking to control but instead Burt has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Burt won't allow Swanson to pass to mount.
Burt on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Burt looking for submissions off his back.
Swanson working Burt over with strikes.
Swanson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Swanson slips a nice elbow through Burt's hands, connecting with Burt's forehead.
Swanson winds up and cracks Burt with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Burt is rocked!
Swanson scores with a big shot! Burt's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Burt! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Swanson!
