PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cleetus Miller (ranked 4635 p4p, 5839 weight class) and Declan Sullivan (ranked 533 p4p, 603 weight class). Declan Sullivan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cleetus Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Declan Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan misses the body punch
and Miller counters with a stiff right hand.
Sullivan tries for a takedown but Miller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sullivan tries to clinch there but Miller circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Sullivan. Those never looked like landing.
Miller swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Miller explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Miller but Miller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A low kick lands for Miller.
Miller lands with a cross.
Sullivan takes one to the side of the head.
Sullivan throws a head kick that misses.
Miller lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Sullivan is rocked!
Miller definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sullivan gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Miller gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
