Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walt Dykstra (ranked 1889 p4p, 2799 weight class) and Sey La Vie (ranked 67 p4p, 102 weight class). Walt Dykstra had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walt Dykstra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sey La Vie! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dykstra swings widly with a right hand
and La Vie counters with a right hand to the body. La Vie ducks under a wild hook from Dykstra. A left lands for Dykstra. Dykstra lands a really nice looking cross but La Vie seems unphased.
La Vie moves out of range of the strikes. La Vie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
La Vie shapes to counter with a head kick. Dykstra throws a body punch but La Vie moves out of range. Dykstra looks to land a combination but La Vie avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dykstra misses with a hook
and La Vie counters with a left and a right that stings Dykstra. Dykstra misses with a hook. La Vie ducked under it nicely. La Vie follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. La Vie ducks under a wild hook from Dykstra. Despite the aggression on La Vie's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. A telegraphed right hand from Dykstra misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dykstra throws a poor cross that misses
and La Vie counters with a left to the body. Dykstra misses with an uppercut. La Vie was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Good shot there by Dykstra. La Vie slips a jab and a cross from Dykstra.
Walt Dykstra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dykstra misses with a hook. Despite the aggression on La Vie's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Dykstra throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dykstra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A jab from Dykstra finds it's way through La Vie's defenses. Dykstra looks to land a right hand but La Vie moved out of range. La Vie replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Dykstra blocks it well. Dykstra throws a lazy head kick and La Vie counters with a nice right hand that sends Dykstra toppling to the canvas! Dykstra scrambles and gets back to his feet - can La Vie finish him?!
Dykstra is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dykstra misses with a left hand and La Vie counters with a lovely shot to the body. Oh Dykstra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dykstra is breathing heavily. Dykstra misses with an uppercut
and La Vie counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Dykstra badly! La Vie follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Dykstra out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as La Vie finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sey La Vie! Sey La Vie very nearly forgot to thank Knock Out Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
