The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pratoomwong moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Jerricho Patterson has been cut.
Patterson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sloppy strikes from Pratoomwong. Those never looked like landing.
Pratoomwong misses with a series of wild punches.
Patterson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Patterson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Pratoomwong throws a head kick that misses.
Pratoomwong has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Patterson finds it's way round the side to connect with Pratoomwong's head.

Patterson throws a wild body kick that Pratoomwong sees coming a mile off.

Patterson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pratoomwong tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pratoomwong swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Patterson.
Patterson throws a jab but it's blocked by Pratoomwong.

A head kick lands from Patterson that sends Pratoomwong to the canvas. Pratoomwong tries to scramble back to his feet but Patterson brings him back down into side control.

Patterson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pratoomwong, who protects the arm well.

Patterson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Pratoomwong is trying to escape and Patterson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Pratoomwong is forced to tap! Nice work there by Patterson! Very nice indeed!
