Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Magomed Kozmas (ranked 4951 p4p, 3152 weight class) and Frank Jacobs (ranked 523 p4p, 400 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Magomed Kozmas has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Magomed Kozmas seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Magomed Kozmas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Jacobs! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs has Kozmas up against the cage in a clinch.
Jacobs lands with a left to the head. Jacobs lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kozmas wants a takedown.
Jacobs lands a left hand.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jacobs creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kozmas is rocked! Jacobs misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jacobs should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kozmas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jacobs fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Kozmas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kozmas blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jacobs tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Jacobs blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jacobs is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magomed Kozmas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kozmas prevents a body shot from Jacobs. Jacobs is leaning against Kozmas and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Kozmas is breathing heavily. Jacobs wants to get back to striking at distance but Kozmas won't allow it.

Jacobs must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jacobs seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jacobs with a nice head shot there. Jacobs scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Jacobs controlling from the top position. Kozmas is trying to keep Jacobs in close.
Jacobs with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Jacobs loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jacobs lands a couple of decent looking shots. Oh Kozmas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacobs is looking to work some ground and pound but Kozmas has wrist control. Jacobs postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Kozmas covers up, he's hurt! Jacobs keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Jacobs and the ref steps in to end the fight! Jacobs can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
