Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Motty Watson (ranked 2837 p4p, 3269 weight class) and Brian Burns (ranked 366 p4p, 410 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Motty Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Burns!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Watson. That's going to slow Burns down.
Burns scores with a jab.
Watson connects with a solid leg kick.
Watson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Burns scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Burns lands a lovely overhand right.
Watson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Burns counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Watson throws a series of punches but Burns moves out of range.
Watson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Burns scores with a counter punch that sends Watson to the canvas! Burns smells blood - he's punishing Watson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Watson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Burns!
