PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Denny Cortez (ranked 4512 p4p, 4932 weight class) and Worf Mogh (ranked 412 p4p, 0 weight class). Mogh is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gimme The Loot. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mogh circles away quickly and effectively.
Mogh takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Mogh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mogh controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cortez is on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mogh can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mogh loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Cortez scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mogh land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mogh stands and salutes the crowd.
