Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blade Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, William S Burroughs!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burroughs throws the left hand but Wilson avoids the punch easily.
It looked like Wilson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Burroughs shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wilson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wilson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Burroughs is looking to improve his position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Burroughs felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Wilson lands a left and a right that send Burroughs crashing to the mat, dazed. Wilson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

William S Burroughs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burroughs bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Wilson comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Burroughs falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Burroughs was out before he hit the floor!
