The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues cracks Gunnarsson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Gunnarsson misses with an uppercut.
Rodrigues throws a big shot that misses.
Gunnarsson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rodrigues takes one on the button.
It looks like Adilson Rodrigues has been cut.

Rodrigues throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gunnarsson counters with a head kick. That will keep Rodrigues thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Rodrigues throws a hook to the side of Gunnarsson's head but Gunnarsson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gunnarsson throws a body shot but no joy.
Rodrigues connects with a leg kick.
Rodrigues moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rodrigues throws a one two combo.
Gunnarsson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rodrigues looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rodrigues throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rodrigues takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rodrigues bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gunnarsson's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donk. Rodrigues catches Gunnarsson right on the button with a cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gunnarsson scores with a nice right hand.
Gunnarsson connects with a high kick.
Rodrigues thows a leg kick but Gunnarsson checks it
and Gunnarsson counters with a huge left! Rodrigues is in big trouble! He's backing up but Gunnarsson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Rodrigues from any more damage. A dominating finish by Gunnarsson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gunnar Gunnarsson!
