The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Araújo half committed to a counter leg kick.
Araújo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blacktalians MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Bean Bryant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Araújo throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Bean Bryant has been cut.
Bryant with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Araújo to score with a decent uppercut.
Bryant doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Araújo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That has opened up Bean Bryant 's cut even more.
Bryant 's coach down at Besta-Fera Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bryant 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Araújo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bryant circles away quickly and effectively.

Araújo lands a big head kick that sends Bryant tumbling to the mat! Araújo takes a step backwards and waves Bryant back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bean Bryant 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

and Araújo counters with a nice right hand that sends Bryant toppling to the canvas! Bryant scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Araújo finish him?!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bean Bryant 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
