Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Cotilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Danger!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danger swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A nice leg kick lands there from Danger.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cotilla. Danger does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cotilla throws a hook but Danger avoids it easily.
Cotilla misses with a body shot.
Cotilla with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A punch combination from Cotilla misses.
Danger throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Danger swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cotilla scores with the left hand. Danger knows he should have avoided that one.
Danger throws a lazy right hand but Cotilla sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

It seemed like Danger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Danger rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cotilla moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Danger has his foot on Cotilla's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cotilla works his way back into a safe position though.

Danger has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cotilla is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Danger.

Danger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
