Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg Pearson (ranked 4540 p4p, 3980 weight class) and Enz Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greg Pearson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Greg Pearson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Enz Kong ! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pearson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kong . Kong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kong takes a swing at Pearson's ribcage but misses. Pearson tries to counter by clinching up but Kong breaks away and moves out of range. Enz Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body punch from Pearson. Pearson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kong . We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kong tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pearson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kong won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pearson wants to take a breather but Kong manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Pearson. Pearson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pearson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kong wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Pearson throws a big right hand that misses. Kong preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pearson is one step ahead there. Pearson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pearson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pearson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Pearson content to stall in guard here. Kong keeping moving, preventing Pearson from controlling successfully. Pearson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kong on the ground. Pearson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kong has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pearson is looking to defend but Kong has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pearson! Kong pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pearson taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Enz Kong !
