The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goober fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kersikov manages to avoid it.
Goober throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kersikov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Goober.
Kersikov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Goober throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kersikov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kersikov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kersikov looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Goober has his feet on Kersikov's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kersikov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Goober's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kersikov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Goober is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Goober is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kersikov rolls with it to try and escape but Goober cranks on the arm and Kersikov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
