This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Elliot Thicke! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Thicke fails with the takedown. Williamson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Williamson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Thicke trying to hold on to Williamson's head to control him but Williamson postures up.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Thicke might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Williamson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Williamson is working for a kimura but Thicke is defending it quite comfortably.
