This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 7 losses; Dragon Li Chai! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Ernie Tertelgte!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Chai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chai wants it to stay on the feet.
Tertelgte goes for a double leg but Chai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Chai continues to drive forward.

Chai gets tackled into the cage by Tertelgte. Tertelgte maintains the clinch.
Chai has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tertelgte after a bit of a struggle.

Tertelgte ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tertelgte no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tertelgte manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chai manages to get himself to full guard.

Chai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

As we have tied on points, we go to a tie breaker and Chai gets a bonus point for attempting more subs.
Chai takes the fight on points by 9 to 8.
