Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackie The Supreme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jet The Master !
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Supreme scores a takedown into full mount!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The Supreme wants to stand and escape but The Master is having none of it.

The Supreme gets caught flat footed, as The Master shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The Master postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The Supreme has his foot on The Master 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Master works his way back into a safe position though.

The Master might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control The Supreme kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jet The Master showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jackie The Supreme has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jet The Master .

The Master buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The Supreme is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
The Master wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but The Supreme has him pressed against the cage.

The Master takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The Supreme closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if The Master can do anything to dispel that myth.
