Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Petr Vrabec (ranked 2450 p4p, 2423 weight class) and Thiago Lourenco (ranked 252 p4p, 248 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Petr Vrabec! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thiago Lourenco! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vrabec throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lourenco has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vrabec. Lourenco drives through with a takedown into Vrabec's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Lourenco wants to control from the top but Vrabec keeps moving. Vrabec is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lourenco is controlling him. Vrabec is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Vrabec's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lourenco wants to control from the top but Vrabec keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vrabec not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lourenco won't allow Vrabec to get back to his feet. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Vrabec is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Petr Vrabec is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vrabec tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lourenco dives in and scores a takedown into Vrabec's guard. Vrabec keeping moving, preventing Lourenco from controlling successfully. Vrabec has his hands on Lourenco's head, controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vrabec preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lourenco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vrabec swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lourenco stopping the sweep attempt from Vrabec. Lourenco looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lourenco trying to control but Vrabec is working from the bottom. Lourenco slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lourenco won't allow Vrabec to sweep him here. Lourenco pushes down on Vrabec's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lourenco prevents Vrabec from improving his position. Lourenco trying to mount his opponent but Vrabec defends it. Vrabec is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vrabec looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lourenco trying to mount his opponent but Vrabec defends it. Lourenco wants to work for an arm triangle but Vrabec is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Vrabec is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Lourenco seems to be working for a kimura but Vrabec defends the submission attempt. Lourenco looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Vrabec tries to get to full guard but Lourenco has control of the leg. Lourenco trying to pass the guard but Vrabec defending well. Vrabec tries to roll over but Lourenco keeps him under control. Lourenco is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vrabec doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lourenco. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lourenco is looking for a kimura here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Thiago Lourenco dominated that round. That's time! Vrabec's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Lourenco avoids the head kick by Vrabec.
Lourenco misses with a looping right. Petr Vrabec seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vrabec lands a big head kick that sends Lourenco tumbling to the mat! Vrabec takes a step backwards and waves Lourenco back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Lourenco is rocked! Vrabec lands a big head kick that sends Lourenco to the canvas! Vrabec follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Petr Vrabec!
