Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bantam Rooster (ranked 2664 p4p, 2642 weight class) and Jackson Davis (ranked 143 p4p, 142 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bantam Rooster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jackson Davis!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rooster slips a jab from Davis.
Rooster connects with a body shot.
Davis misses the jab.
Rooster swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Davis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rooster missing with a left hand there. Davis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Davis throws a looping overhand right but Rooster ducks down to avoid it.
Rooster definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Rooster avoids the body shot from Davis.
A jab from Rooster misses.
Davis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rooster was covering up waiting for the punch and Davis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Rooster is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Davis defends well.
Rooster is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Rooster has momentary wrist control but Davis slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rooster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rooster is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davis is aware though and is defending well.
Davis passes into half guard.
Davis lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Rooster has hold of Davis's hands but Davis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Rooster with the active half guard here but Davis passes nicely into side control.
Rooster is trying to improve his position.
Rooster is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davis tries to pass to full mount but Rooster defends it.
Rooster looking for submissions off his back.
Davis drops an elbow to the side of Rooster's head.
Rooster regains full guard. Nicely done.
Rooster has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Davis doesn't defend quickly enough and Rooster has managed to lock this one up! Can Davis escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rooster on a fantastic submission victory.

Bantam Rooster decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
